Jordan Eileen Rosner
_Jordan is currently a freshman at the University of Indianapolis,
located in the southern part of Indianapolis nearby Southport High
School. She is currently a Business Administration major. Her favorite
subjects include writing, Spanish, art, and music.
In Jordan's senior year of high school, she was an exploratory teacher for Amy Koch at the Plainfield Community Middle School. She helped out during Koch's 3rd period English class everyday from 9:40 to 10:15.
Jordan completed her entire year of senior English in approximately 5 weeks. She took four years of Spanish in high school, and she skipped the level one class of Piano/Keyboarding and took Piano/Keyboarding II.
Jordan was in Spanish Club from her freshman year to her junior year. She has been an active member of Plainfield Christian Church since she was in middle school. She was on the yearbook publications staff during her sophomore, junior, and part of her senior year and was a Team Leader during her junior year. She was a cheerleader from her freshman to sophomore year, and she was JV co-captain her freshman year.

Jordan and Volunteering
_Jordan believes in the importance of giving back to the community.
Whether it's volunteering or donating, Jordan always finds ways to give
back and help out. During the summers of her freshman and sophomore
years, she was a volunteer "Zoo Teen" for the Indianapolis Zoo. For her
freshman year, she volunteered in the oceans and desert sections of the
zoo. For her sophomore year, she volunteered for the encounters area of
the zoo. Jordan was invited back both years to volunteer at the zoo.
Jordan also has helped out her mother, an elementary school teacher, with tutoring students over the summer. Jordan would help them in reading, spelling, and mathematics.
During her sophomore year of high school, Jordan organized a donation drive for Sheltering Wings Women's Shelter. Her younger sister's soccer coach, Greg Hylton, dropped off items that Jordan collected from the Plainfield High School cheerleaders. She also has donated blood and has volunteered at an Indiana Blood Center blood drive with drive organizer Jamie Shurig.

_During her junior year, Jordan worked at a family owned business called
The Coachman Restaurant. She was a hostess and worked 5-6 hour shifts
about 3-5 days each week. She worked from June 2010 to June 2011. She
made many friends at her job, and she grew really close to the other
employees, the customers, the managers, and even the owner.
The owner, Larry Paynter, has offered Jordan her job back on more than one occasion. He labeled Jordan as one of his favorite employees, as well as one of the customers' favorite employees.
While Jordan has considered going back to The Coachman, she respectively declined the offer for now. She wanted to have more experience in different work places, and she now works at Bob Evans in Plainfield, IN - store number 332. She currently is a hostess and works approximately 9 to 9.5 hours on both Saturday and Sunday - a total of about 18.5 hours each week. She started out hostessing, and while she'll still do that from time to time if asked of her, she now is a waitress, working only on the weekends during the school year.
